PROGRAM LEVEL

The Associate Degree in Office Management aims to provide students with the necessary technical and office skills to be able to play supporting roles in the offices as administrative staff. This program introduces students to a number of computerized applications that enable them to do many office tasks such as framing, writing and editing messages in Arabic and English, using tables, databases and reporting programs.

PROGRAM INTENTDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

a. Identify the importance of leadership, team-building skills, cultural diversity and managerial functions.
b. Identify appropriate office procedures for various office related tasks, and recognize the need to continue professional development.
c. Apply and utilize computer applications in order to produce business documents using specific design and layout principles.
d. Make use of appropriate English or Arabic Language communication skills and Math, in order to produce letters, memos, reports, and charts and to prepare both verbal and technical presentations.
e. Solve office-related issues by using advance decision-making skills, office procedures & applications.
f. Prepare different kinds of business documents, office activities and tasks by applying advance office skills and procedures.
