Biography


Dr. Wedad Mohammed Aljowder is a distinguished Bahraini academic and educator with over two decades of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and professional training. She holds a PhD in Education from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, alongside dual Master’s degrees in Education and Mathematics, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of Bahrain.

Dr. Aljowder has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bahrain’s College of Applied Sciences since 2007, where she teaches a broad range of courses in education, business, management, and psychology. Her academic career is complemented by extensive administrative experience, including roles on faculty committees, curriculum development teams, and student training coordination units. A certified international trainer and NLP instructor, Dr. Aljowder has conducted numerous training programs across the Gulf in areas such as educational technology, performance evaluation, business consulting, and communication skills. She has collaborated with governmental ministries and international organizations, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), delivering high-impact seminars and workshops throughout Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and beyond. Her research focuses on educational evaluation, ICT in education, and organizational development. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed studies and received national recognition for her contributions, including the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Award and over 55 honorary recognitions for her academic, research, and community service work. Dr. Aljowder is highly regarded for her dedication to educational excellence, curriculum innovation, and capacity-building in both academic and professional spheres.
