FACULTY BIO

Mr. Ahmed Yusuf Buong has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Administrative and Technical Programs at the College of Applied Education, the University of Bahrain since 2011. He has held the position of Director of Administrative and Technical Programs since 2018. Mr. Buong is currently completing the requirements for graduating with a PhD in Sustainable Development and Environment from the College of Science at the University of Bahrain. He completed his postgraduate studies for a Master’s degree at the University of Cumbria, UK, in Business Administration. Mr. Buong’s research interests include sustainable development, management, entrepreneurship and management, and interpersonal relations in the workplace. Mr. Buong chaired many committees at the department, college, and university levels. He had contributed to serving the university and the community as a member of committees country level, including as a member of the Executive Committee to evaluate government service centers formed by a decision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which aims to raise the efficiency of government services. Mr. Buong participated in many local and regional conferences as a participant and as a member of the organizing committees.
