Before joining academia, Alaa gained valuable experience in administration and accounting through her work in the private sector. In 2022, she joined the College of Applied Studies at the University of Bahrain as a faculty member. In addition to her academic qualifications, Alaa has specialized expertise in blockchain technology within the finance sector, further supported by a certification from the Blockchain Council.
