FACULTY BIO

Mrs. Eman Khalil Almohsen, MSc, is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Administrative and Technical Programs, College of Applied Studies, University of Bahrain. Her expertise lies in Computer Science, Programming, Web and Multimedia Applications, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. She graduated with a Master's degree with distinction in E-Commerce from Middlesex University, the UK, in 2006; and with a Bachelor with distinction in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain in 2004. She got the Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practices from York John University, the UK, in 2012. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Microsoft Certified Educator, and a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist. She participated in different scientific activities and published papers in ISs, AI, ML, and E-Commerce. As the Head of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee in the College of Applied Studies for the period 2015 – 2018, she coordinated the development of different programs offered by the college and conducted different workshops and presentations related to quality assurance and accreditation. She still participates in designing, developing, reviewing, and assessing courses and programs to meet the accreditation standards. She is a volunteer in Injaz Bahrain and participated in other community service activities for some of the ministries. She supervises and examines technical projects, and she is an active member in different committees at the department and college levels.
