FACULTY BIO

Research and Teaching Assistant at the Administrative and Technical Department in the College of Applied Studies, and a current Ph.D. student in the College of Business Administration, majoring in Business Analytics in Management, expected to graduate in 2025. Holder of master’s degree certificate in Public Management from Aix- Marseille University of France (2018) and a Professional Certificate from Ecole Nationale D’Administration (ENA) France, and Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Bahrain, upon the completion of the international professional program Master of Public Management (MPM). Graduated from the University of Bahrain in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree of Arts in English. Mrs. Maryam has been a member of the Team of Assessors for the evaluation of best practices initiatives in the public sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the “Arab Government Excellence Award” since 2020, a certified part-time trainer in the Centre for Leadership & Management at the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF) since 2019, a founding member of BIPA Alumni Network since 2019, the Managing Director of Young Authors for Education and Training establishment since 2019, and a validator of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) at the National Authority for Qualifications & Quality Assurance (BQA) since 2016. Mrs. Maryam has more than 14 years of experience in office management, as she has served at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning as the Office Manager of the Undersecretary’s office before joining the University of Bahrain in February 2020.
