ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The administration programs in the College of Applied Studies offers an Associate Diploma in Business Administration, an Associate Diploma in Accounting, and an Associate Diploma in Office management. All programs provide the learners with a scholastic environment to engage them in their field of specialization which are continuously progressing in accordance with the latest market needs whereby upon successful completion of their course of study they will be able to integrate into the surrounding labor market to become skilled professionals.

OUR FACULTY
The Administrative Department offering the Associate Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting and Office Management has 15 full-time, qualified, and well-experienced faculty members as of the academic year 2020-2021. The faculty members are distributed as follows: 2 Assistant Professors, 7 Lecturers, 4 Instructors and 2 Research and Teaching Assistants. All ranked faculty members have obtained their academic degrees in the fields of Business Management, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Public Management, and other Administration related fields from reputable academic institutions globally such as Bahrain, United Kingdom, United States of America, France, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Sudan. One of the faculty is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK (FHEA) and all faculties has significant number of Teaching experience in the University. Most of the faculties are Microsoft Certified Educators.
In addition to their teaching duties, the faculty also conduct research at local, regional, international level, serves on a variety of University, College and Department level committees, community services as well as quality assurance and accreditation processes. They are also involved in many students’ extracurricular activities such as supervising technical projects as well as mentoring the students.
